Shop Local, Eat Global! CHOW FUN is an Asian Dine-around to celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the Excelsior neighborhood in San Francisco. The event will take place from Saturday, May 25 thru Saturday, June 1 along the Mission St, Ocean Ave, and Geneva Ave business corridors in the Excelsior and OMI neighborhoods. During this week, members of the community are invited to dine out and support local restaurants and merchants.
We believe that culture and cuisine are integral elements of a thriving and dynamic community. Events like these affirm and celebrate AANHPI heritage, and help us connect with the larger multi-cultural community. This event will uplift AANHPI entrepreneurs and small business owners, and support the revitalization and economic recovery of the Excelsior and OMI neighborhoods.
