SF’s Free “Kite by the Bay” 2024 Kite Festival in the Park (Candlestick Point)

California State Parks, Parks California, and SF Parks Alliance will host a kite festival called “Kite By The Bay.” This free community event (with free parking) will be held at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, a historic 252-acre urban state park, on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2024.

The second annual Kite By The Bay kite festival in partnership with California State Parks and Parks California is a family-friendly event and attendees are invited to bring kites or assemble and decorate kites that will be provided. The festival will also feature a free pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, face painting, music by local DJ BeatsMe, and free food on a first come first serve basis.
