SF’s HERstory Festival: 100+ Events

In March 2019, the San Francisco Public Library presents HERstory, a month-long celebration of Women’s History Month, honoring and acknowledging the contributions of women and the unique experience of being female today with a diverse array of lectures, films, performances and programs for all ages at every library location.

Patricia Lowe-Copeland, aka Chocolate Platinum, is an award-winning, ICLDI (International Consortium for Line Dancer Instructors) 2nd Level Certified Line Dance Instructor, Choreographer, and performer. Patricia believes that her classes provide an opportunity for community members to get together and dance for health and wellness, and have fun at the same time.

Bringing a passion and energy to her classes, she believes in empowering people of all ages to have fun dancing while at the same time staying active and getting in shape. Patricia will demonstrate her original soul line dancing choreography, followed by an opportunity for the audience to join in on the fun.
