Celebrate the opening exhibition at 447 Minna with live music, poetry, mural painting, tarot card readers, and great local food vendors at The Parks at 5M.
Tarot in Pandemic & Revolution unites 62 visual artists and poets from across the San Francisco Bay Area.
Beginning at Kapwa Gardens, join artists, poets, musicians, and dancers for a stroll down Mission Street before arriving at The Parks at 5M. Bring a blanket and sit on the grass to enjoy live music all afternoon and get your tarot read!
From 1-4pm, soak in the creative energy of art being made in real-time outdoors and inside 447 Minna during The Illusion Show, an interactive container of wonder that bridges the community with artists and musicians from a mix of disciplines and genres. Guests are invited to engage in the artistic collaboration through music, painting, drawing, and poetry.
On the 2nd floor at 447 Minna, view the pop-up exhibition of the visionary works that created the tarot deck. Capturing a moment in history unlike any other, this multidisciplinary collaboration brings together award-winning poet laureates, novelists, authors, muralists, painters, graphic artists, performance artists, musicians, and dancers, each committed to social, environmental, public health, and climate justice.
