On March 31st the Mission Food Hub will honor Cesar Chavez with a food drive from 8 am to 6 pm to support the farmworkers

A celebration will begin at 12 pm with an opening prayer by community organizer Eva Royal and a blessing by Aztec dancers. Followed by a performance by singer/guitarist Francisco Herrera and Francisco Duran and words by Richard Ibarra.

Food donations can be dropped off at the Mission Food Hub when it’s in operation. Monetary donations will also be accepted. 100% of your donation feeds the Mission District

The Farmworker Food Drive will continue through April 10th. Food donations will be delivered to the Central Valley by volunteers from the San Francisco Lowrider Council and community members.
