Join us to celebrate the Lunar New Year with the first-day-of-issue of a new Forever stamp.
This year, the U.S. Postal Service will commemorate the Lunar New Year by unveiling a new Forever stamp for the Year of the Rabbit at the Asian Art Museum. Join San Francisco mayor London Breed, Derek Kan of the USPS Board of Governors, California state treasurer Fiona Ma, and Dr. Jay Xu, The Barbara Bass Bakar Director and CEO of the Asian Art Museum, for a special dedication ceremony.
The public is welcome to attend this ceremony at 11 AM (seating is limited) and enjoy the museum’s first-floor galleries (including special exhibition Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk) for FREE from 10 AM to 1 PM (second and third-floor collection galleries will be closed until 1 PM.) Free postcards featuring artwork from the museum’s collection and Lunar New Year greetings will be available while supplies last.
