San Francisco’s annual Fat Tuesday festival in the Fillmore will most likely return in 2025, but details have not yet been announced as of 1/24/25. This event is held annually on Fat Tuesday which is March 4, 2025.

2024 Fat Tuesday Festival in the Fillmore

Fat Tuesday in the Fillmore returns to San Francisco with a free blues concert. Celebrating Fat Tuesday in the Fillmore with great blues, Zydeco Music, a second line processional, creative costumes, good food and colorful beads, the Village Project will host this year’s annual Mardi Gras, San Francisco Style on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

  • Free live outdoor community blues concert (5:30-7p) w/ Black Cat Zydeco and Cherronda G

  • After Party Masquerade Ball (7p-11p) (Normally $50-$75 the masquerade ball is free for the first time ever in 2024) Our infamous Masquerade Ball will follow at the renowned **Hotel Nikko San Francisco** (Mason and O’Farrell) at 7 pm for an unforgettable night.Grammy-nominated R&B band Club Nouveau (“Lean on Me,” “Jealousy,” Why You Treat Me So Bad”) will highlight the night’s entertainment, with an encore performance by Blues Diva, Tia Carroll.The Masquerade Ball includes a complimentary New Orelans-style dinner which includes seafood jambalaya and cajun-style chicken.

About the Village Project Jefferson Award winner, Adrian Williams is the founder of The Village Project, a youth service organization focusing on academic and cultural enrichment for youth and their families in the Western Addition. This annual fundraiser helps support an afterschool program and a free 8 week summer camp for underserved youth. The Village Project also produces Grilling in the ‘MO, A Senior Moment, A Senior Prom for the 50+ and a 7 day Kwanzaa Celebration.
