SF’s “Summer Ferry Fest” Ferry Building’s 125th Anniversary (2023)

Let’s party like it’s 1898! Celebrate the San Francisco Ferry Building turning 125 at the first ever Summer Ferry Fest.

Join the Ferry Building, Napa Valley Vintners, and Foodwise for wine, beer, bites, and music while enjoying the magic of the Ferry Building marketplace at night. Play with your food by creating edible material art with SF Etsy! Dance the night away to live music from La Gente SF, and don’t forget to snap a picture with the clocktower photo op.

Event proceeds benefit Foodwise, the nonprofit operator of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and education programs for eaters of all ages.

While there is no entrance fee, attendees must purchase ‘tasting tickets’ to exchange for bites and sips at the event. Eventbrite GA registrations include 10 tasting tickets, early check-in at 4:30pm to enjoy a beer tasting and DJ at Fort Point, and a signature wine glass. Eventbrite registrants must check in at the Ferry Building tent facing the Embarcadero to redeem registration for tasting tickets, wine glasses, and present photo ID before entering the event. Attendees may purchase additional tasting tickets at the event from Foodwise volunteer tables. Wineries and merchant bite stations will be located throughout the marketplace on the first floor of the Ferry Building.
