SF’s “Thirst Draft” Write Drunk, Edit Never Lit Night (Madrone Art Bar)

An event for writers — and for writing. Everyone gets the same prompt when they walk in the door. What ends up on the page is up to you. Here’s how it works:

• Interpret the prompt however you like but try to incorporate it in some way
• Write whatever you want: poem, song, short story, joke, letter…
• Work alone or collaborate with friends/strangers
• No word count or time limit
• Sign up by 7pm if you want to share your piece on stage, just like an open mic

Want to join but can’t make it by 6pm? All good! Here are some loose times to keep in mind:

• Write & Mingle: 6pm to 7pm
• Share on Stage: 7pm to 8pm
• Drink & Discuss: 8pm to 9pm

No cover, no AI. Pens and paper will be available, but bring your own if you can. Tip your bartenders and support your fellow writers.
