SFUSD Student Arts Festival: Community Day | Asian Art Museum
The 2017 SFUSD Arts Festival is running from April 29th to May 7th, hosted at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco with music and dance performances most of the day
At the Asian Art Museum hundreds of artworks created by students in San Francisco will be exhibited, over 80 student groups will perform music and dance, a literary event will take place, and Dreamcatcher awards will be presented to individuals who have contributed significantly to Arts Education in the City. An in-museum art activity – paper folding creation of flowers, fans, and samurai hats – will be offered to children from 10-1 Monday-Friday.

How to Get Free Admission: Upon arrival at the Asian Art Museum simply inform you are attending the SFUSD Arts Festival and you will be provided with free admission. Festival admission is free and includes access to the special exhibition Tomb Treasures: New Discoveries from China’s Han Dynasty and the museum’s collection galleries. Read more at asianart.org
Thursday, May 4th is the Community Celebration with music and dance from 5pm to 8pm.
