Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure: Pay What You Wish | SF

“Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall.” One of William Shakespeare‘s lesser performed plays, Measure for Measure will be playing for three weeks in November by newly formed San Francisco based Shakespeare Company, “Theater of Others.”

Admission is based on a “Pay What You Wish” scale, where no person will be turned away; suggested donation is $10.

The play deals with the issues of mercy, justice, and truth and their relationship to pride and humility, and will be playing at the Kelly Cullen Community Auditorium, a newly renovated theater in a historic building in San Francisco, the site of the old YMCA.

November 2014 show dates and times:

  • Friday – 7, 14, 21 | 8 pm
  • Saturday – 15, 22 | 8 pm
  • Sunday – 16, 23 | 2 pm
