Shanghai Kelly’s, a dirty little dive bar on Polk Street, is once again running their annual free NCAA pool with free prizes. Win $100 gift certificate to new North Beach restaurant Campanula, Gift Certificates to Kelly’s & The Northstar, Winner’s name gets inscribed on the perpetual trophy as “Kelly’s Most Smartest Hoops Jenius”

Directions for the FREE NCAA Online Pool
It’s rather complicated we know…

1- Go to www.tourney-tracker.com (don’t forget the dash)

2- Click on the “Entry Net” box on the right side of the first page and click on “Go to the Entry Net” on the second page

3- Enter “Northstar” for pool name and then click on “Go Update Entries”

4- On the bottom of the next page, please read the Pool Scoring Instructions. On the top of this page, check the circle for “Create my 2009 Entry Name” and then click on “Go”

5- On the next page, fill in your password, name, phone, and email. When finished click on “Add”

6- You are now at the bracket. Fill in the “Entry Number” box with a “1” (If you want to make a second entry, you would enter “2” here). Next, fill in the “Tie Breaker Number” (your prediction for total points in championship game). Now simply click on the teams you think will win each game until the bracket is complete. When finished, click on the “Submit Entry” box and you are done. You will be brought to a new page where you can print your picks.

All entries must be made by 8am on Thursday, March 17, 2011
