Join Sensei Masato Kawahatsu for a lesson in Shodo Japanese calligraphy.

Sensei Kawahusu’s teaching is guided by a method known as Shin Shin Gaku Do which helps to develop patience, discipline and confidence through activities that nurture the balance between mind, body and spirit.

The workshop will begin with meditation and breathing exercises followed by an introduction to Shin Shin Gaku Do Shodo Japanese calligraphy.

Participants will then practice writing on rice paper and make cards using kanji characters.
