Shoerageous Art Show Opening | SF

For centuries, shoes (and shoemakers) have inspired artists. Now the public can experience how sneakers, slippers, clogs, boots, pumps, and other forms of footwear have similarly inspired Creativity Explored’s artists in Shoerageous, opening on August 14 and on display through October 1, 2014.

This group exhibition includes work by more than two dozen of the organization’s artists, who render shoes in all shapes and sizes, from a ceramic cupcake-tiered high heel to two-dimensional drawings of branded athletic footwear.

Come to the the opening reception from 7-9 pm, and be sure to wear your most outrageous shoes.
