“The Show Goes On” Prescott Circus Theatre Virtual Show

The Prescott Circus Theatre, now in its 36th year, invites one and all to attend a special online event celebrating Prescott Circus Theatre’s joyous journey over the past three and a half decades and the resilient creativity that is supporting its future. The online event will celebrate the people and events that have established the organization that now serves hundreds of children and brings hope and joy to thousands each year.
The 60-minute program will feature:
Special guest appearances and performances
Archival footage of the original “Prescott Clown Troupe”
Student stories and teachers’ testimonies
Debut of 2020 Higher Ground stilt dance – holding ourselves up as the Show Goes On

ABOUT PRESCOTT CIRCUS THEATRE: Now in its 36th year, the Prescott Circus Theatre (PCT) is a nationally recognized performing arts education program for Oakland youth. PCT offers safe environments that challenge Oakland youth, through circus arts training, to live the core principles of hard work, team work, practice, belief in self. Programs promote the skills and self-confidence children need to thrive on stage and in life. Programs consist of free in school and after school, weekend and summer programs for over 200 Oakland youth each year. Performing Company members from Prescott, where the program began, perform and make appearances at over 50 Bay Area events each year.
