Lauren Sherman, Head of Marketing at Shyp will be in conversation with the San Francisco Chronicle’s Ben Muessig at the next edition of the Changemakers Under 30 series at General Assembly showcasing young leaders and finding out how they got where they are and what’s in store for the future at General Assembly.

As head of marketing at Shyp, Lauren oversees the company’s strategy and execution for customer acquisition, partnerships, growth and branding. During her tenure at the company, Shyp has grown by over 500 percent. Prior to joining Shyp, Lauren was a member of the early team at TaskRabbit, where she oversaw 19 U.S. city expansions and lead the company’s first international market launch in London. Prior to joining TaskRabbit, Lauren honed her B2B marketing chops as the U.S. marketing executive for international public relations agency, LEWIS PR. She started her career at Zipcar, the world’s largest car-sharing company, where her innovative, guerrilla approach to marketing was profiled by Fast Company.
