Join docents Liz Foreman and Vern Selvy to explore the signs that spring has arrived, including viewing of early blooming wildflowers and flowering bushes at the Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve in San Carlos.
This will be a moderately- paced, 4.5-mile hike with some hills and uneven terrain. The hike will include the Blue Oak, Dusky- footed Woodrat, and Cordilleras Creek Trails.
Meet at the Pulgas Ridge Preserve parking lot. From I-280, exit Edgewood Road. Travel 3/4 mile east on Edgewood Road toward San Carlos/Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Rd. to the preserve entrance on the right.
