Event Details

Silicon Valley: The Musical is a satirical commentary and love letter to the absurdity of the Valley, chronicling the misadventures of two startup founders who drop out of school determined to change the world.

Join us for an unforgettable night of board meeting rap battles, dramatic founder feuds, and VC roasts set to music at Potrero Stage! The show blends absurd humor (Burning Man, tech bro stereotypes, VCs getting roasted) with hard-hitting commentary on AI’s impact on society.

Come relate to the struggles of venture capitalists through musical numbers like “It’s Not Easy to Be A VC.“, sing along to the “Drop Out” anthem even if you graduated (shame), and break out of stereotypes in “More Than Just A Tech Bro.

Plot Synopsis

Quinn and Dave drop out of MIT and move to San Francisco to start a robotics company called RobotMe. What begins as a dream to change the world quickly spirals into rejection from VCs, founder conflict, and societal backlash as their robots begin exhibiting unexpectedly intelligent behavior.

We can’t say much more without spoilers… but let’s just say things get very complicated when your cleaning robot starts having feelings.

Perfect For

  • Tech workers, founders, and VCs who don’t take themselves too seriously
  • Fans of the Silicon Valley TV show and/or Hamilton
  • People who are attempting to date in the Bay Area
