Sip, Stroll, and Sparkle: The Hayes Valley Wine Walk is Back!

Dust off your favorite walking shoes and get your palate ready—our favorite neighborhood tradition is returning! On Saturday, May 16, Hayes Valley transforms into a wine lover’s paradise for the seasonal Hayes Valley Wine Walk.

Whether you’re a Pinot pro or just looking for a fun Saturday afternoon with friends, this is the perfect way to explore our local boutiques while discovering some truly incredible labels.

What’s on the Menu?

We’ve curated a lineup that celebrates everything from world-class sparkling wines to small-batch hidden gems. Here’s a peek at who’s pouring:

• Une Femme: Our lead sponsor is back! They’ve topped the charts as the fastest-growing canned wine brand for 3+ years! Toast the day with their celebrated sparkling wines. 
• Arlequin Wine Merchant: A neighborhood icon, they’ll be sharing exclusive samples from their monthly wine club.
• The Bird & Afterwork Bar: These neighborhood favorites return to the lineup, providing local flavor and the welcoming community spirit Hayes Valley is known for.
• Avanelle Wine Co.: Take a mini-vacation to Provence with these elegant, sun-drenched French varietals.
• Bar Jamón: a Spanish Tapas & Cocktail Bar, pouring tastes of Spain
• San Francisco Meat Co.: a neighborhood butchery that also sells fine wines, cheeses and gourmet foods
• Tansy: Women-made wines that bring together the best of Italy and California

Springboard Wine & Spirits Company: Joining as a new sponsor! Founded in 2006, and Co-owned by sisters, Sybil Ajay Sanford and Elizabeth Corsini, Springboard is bringing a diverse portfolio of artisanal labels to the Wine Walk. 

• Four Dimes: Hailing from the world-renowned Napa Valley, Four Dimes offers a classic California profile with a focus on quality and character.
• Vaughn Duffy: This Sonoma-based winery specializes in small-batch, handcrafted wines that emphasize the unique terroir of Northern California.
• Joseph-Jibril: Based in Sonoma, this winery focuses on minimal intervention to produce fresh, vibrant wines that truly express the fruit.
• Itri: Proudly “made by misfits, for misfits,” Itri offers a bold, unconventional approach to winemaking that challenges the status quo.

When you check in at the House of Agatha with a Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association volunteer, you’ll grab a souvenir stemless glass, goodie bag and a lanyard map to guide your journey. Your “tasting rooms” for the day are actually our local shops! Pop into these spots to sip while you shop.

• Check-in: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the House of Agatha Handmade Airstream (395 Linden St.)
• The Main Event: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• The After-Party: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at MMclay
• Tickets: $49 in advance / $59 at the door
• Note: This is a 21+ event. Please remember to bring your valid government-issued ID to check-in so we can get the party started! Grab your tickets here!
