Join Aaron Rose (artist, curator and general advocate for positive culture) this afternoon for a public screenprinting workshop. Sister Corita Kent is one of the most iconic California artists from the sixties and seventies. Today we invite the public to use her imagery to create new layered silkscreen compositions. Bring something to print on, or use our stuff.
About Levi’s Workshops: Located in San Francisco’s iconic Mission District (home to one of the first Levi’s factories), we’ve opened up a community print shop. During July and August 2010 we’ll be hard at work teaching classes on classic letterpress machinery, screenprinting designs, setting type, and getting our hands dirty.Levi’s Workshop Events – August 2010
