The women of the Black Panther Party fought alongside of the brothers against racism and police abuse, went to jail, started social programs, and raised children. Come see photographs of these revolutionary women and learn more about their work in the “Sister Love: Celebrating the Women of the Black Panther Party” exhibit featuring photographs from 1969-1973 by Black Panther Party Photographer and Labor Organizer Ducho Dennis, as well as color photographs from 1996-2001 by Billy X Jennings.
This exhibit was compiled by Black Panther Party historian and archivist Billy X Jennings, using photographs from the It’s About Time archives.
