Reina Montenegro, a Filipino-American chef, transitioned from corporate life to culinary world in 2012. She founded the Peninsula’s first Filipino vegan restaurants, including the popular “Nick’s” chain. In 2021, Montenegro rebranded as “Chef Reina,” launching her namesake storefront in Brisbane, CA. Her innovative plant-based cuisine has catered to tech giants and political figures, showcasing her passion for cruelty-free , Filipino cooking.
