“Skate & Sketch” Roller Skating Art Party & Picnic (Golden Gate Park)

Need a roller skating or skateboarding bud? Like to sketch? Don’t wanna skate but wanna sketch with skaters? Looking for community?

Come join me for Sketchy Skate, where we divide up according to activity (skateboard, skate jfk, roller rink ), skate for an hour, then sketch for an hour. 

10:45- meet at The Skatin’ Place on 6th Avenue at GGP. I have purple pink hair but just ask anyone there (we’re all very nice)

11-12 we go together to skate spots (we can’t be in the rink) and skate for an hour

12-1 come back to the rink, sketch, picnic, hang

Don’t wanna skate or cant make it until later? Meet us at the grassy bank of the Skatin’ Place for drawing and hanging.

Disclaimer! Creating this purely as a community gathering, joy, and a place very beginners friendly. THIS IS NOT A CLASS. But, our community is so supportive please be open to learning and teaching others if you can. B.Y.O.Wheels (check schedule for Church of 8 Wheels park rental) Joining means you agree to skate at your own risk, bring your gear!

There is no skateboarding at the rink but I have some spots ready for ya.
