Solano Avenue Lunar New Year Parade and Performance | Albany

The Solano Avenue Association hosts their annual Lunar New Year Parade and Performance on Saturday, February 6, 2010. The parade runs from the top of Solano Avenue from 10am to 11am followed by stage performances from 11am to 2pm at the Albany Twin Theater. Admission is free.

Performances:

• Drums by DJ Wind Chinese Music Academy
• Amazing Chinese Opera Masks and Magic Show
• Dance by the Chinese Arts Program
• Martial Arts by Golden Lion
• Taekwondo by T.G. Taekwondo
• Chinese Instruments & Popular Songs
• Delicious Asian Food

Getting There:
The Albany Twin Theater is located about one mile from the El Cerrito Plaza BART station.

You can walk, or take the AC Transit Bus 72 in direction of San Pablo. You will arrive at San Pablo Ave and Solano Ave (5 min)
