SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2026
The 2026 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Hermán Olivera y Orquesta Taíno to kick off its 26th season. The Festival features over 100 free performances from May to November in Downtown San Francisco.
The women in Kitka are fearless sonic explorers, and you can hear their intrepid spirit in the lush, haunting harmonies, intricate ornamentation, angular rhythms and powerful resonance in every song they share. For over four decades this beloved Oakland-based ensemble has developed a vast, breathtaking repertoire of traditional music from Balkan, Baltic, Caucasus, and Slavic lands.
