Event Details

How to celebrate the Fourth of July in times like these? For a different kind of Fourth of July celebration (on July 2), bring a picnic out to the old bayfront landfill known as the Albany Bulb for live acoustic music—including a few singalong favorites.

The Bulb is famous for its offbeat art and spectacular views–there’s no better place to be outdoors on a summer weekend.

They’re thrilled to welcome back the musicians of The Wine Club, who will bring their soulful sounds once again to the Bulb “Amphitheater.” Peter Morley, Lisa Crawford and Charlotte Dickert will fill the wildflower-strewn rubble with folk-rock and Americana favorites and originals on guitar, mandolin and vocals.

They’ll also lead you in some singalongs—all voices welcome, no talent required. You’re welcome to bring a guitar or other instrument if you like. Song requests welcome—send them the words in advance if you want them to provide them to everyone.

Free but an RSVP is required.
