The art of typesetting, invented by Johannes Gutenberg in the early 15th Century, is certainly a cool one, even if all the extra labor’s been rendered useless by new technologies.

During this free two-hour multimedia presentation from Grendl Löfkvist, you will learn the intriguing and occasionally bizarre stories behind some of the eccentric individuals who have contributed to the advancement of type and print technologies over the last 500 years. You will gain a whole new appreciation for your favorite typefaces, printers and presses once their sordid past is revealed.
