Event Details

Ever been on a dance floor and wondered, “It’s crowded…what do I do with my arms?” or “I haven’t heard this song before…how do I dance to it?” or “A dance circle is forming…what do I do??”

In this workshop, you’ll get answers to these questions and more. You’ll learn:

  • Some basic steps
  • You’ll practice to common types of music (hip-hop, house, R&B, etc.) and in different dance floor situations (like dance circles).

Their goal is to help you find comfort and confidence doing something that humans have been doing for centuries — busting a move. Made to Move run their workshops at bars, before DJs start playing, so that you can grab a drink and loosen up on the dance floor before crowds arrive.
