South First Fridays Art Walk & Special Performances | San Jose

The South First Fridays art walk in downtown San Jose is a self-guided evening tour through galleries, museums, and independent creative businesses featuring eclectic art exhibitions and special performances. All art venues are free & open to the public.

This event occurs every first Friday of the month.

From San José California, Corazón Salvaje emanates an aural concoction of Afro-Latin, punk, and poetry. The Corazón beat has been all over the SF Bay Area and this year it will reach SoCal and the roots it has sprouted from in México. Their diverse musical background shapes the thunder and roar that radiates from the stage and future sound recordings. “With Jose’s spoken word poetry, he sounds like he is casting a spell on the crowd” (Cervantes, punxanddrunxblog, 2016).
