Pumped for the Super Bowl? Like to play Madden? The first annual Sports Basement Madden Tournament in honor of the Super Bowl is happening from noon to 4 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Sports Basement is providing drinks, tailgate food (including Kinder’s), and other goodies. Wear your favorite team jersey and get a special door prize.

Here’s how it all works:

• Sign up for your opportunity to play as one-person teams.
• Sports Basement will then organize a bracket putting you against a worthy opponent. It’s single elimination.
• The game will be projected, so everyone can check out your skills
• First round winners will then move forward to the next bracket, and so on… until there are two ultimate Madden gamers.
• The top two winners will receive Super Bowl Party Gift packages from Sports Basement that are guaranteed to take your Super Bowl party to the next level.
• Plus, bring your friends because the Bowl participant with the biggest, loudest entourage will also win an awesome prize.
