Event Details

As part of the special series: The G Spot: Gentrification, Transformation, and Queer San Francisco, the Ghosts of Gentrification Bar Crawl will take you on a drinking adventure through the queer bars of old brought down by the myriad forces of gentrification–and those that have resisted and sprung from the ashes.

Show up at 18th St. and Collingwood Ave. in the Castro at 4 pm sharp on Saturday, February 28, to get on board. First 40 people to sign up will get a spot on the bus–otherwise you’ll need to find your own means of transportation.

They’re asking for a $5 suggested donation to pay for gas and such, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

This event is brought to you by the gang at Pop Up Gay Bar (formerly Guerilla Queer Bar), and promises to serve chaotic fun along with some solid and ferocious history.
