The Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus has always believed that great music shouldn’t be reserved for a single concert hall — and this spring, that belief takes center stage.
Maestro Urs Leonhardt Steiner leads the full orchestra and chorus in two Bay Area performances of Carl Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana, paired with Vivaldi’s Gloria and excerpts from The Four Seasons.
Featuring: Gabrielle Goozee-Nichols, Soprano; Anne Richnavsky, Soprano; Hilary Hecht, Soprano; Alodiah Lunar, Mezzo-Soprano; Jack Wilkins, Tenor; Harlan Hays, Baritone
Special Guests: Areté Singers · Golden Gate Boys Choir · San Francisco Boys Chorus · Voena Children’s Choir
The program continues this summer at Festival Scuol Classics in Scuol, Switzerland.
