Event Details

Let me paint the picture for you….

It’s Friday Night in San Carlos, and maybe you and your friends just had dinner and now you’re mulling over what to do next. Should we go to the movies? Should we go to Karaoke? Should we go clubbing? But you’re not in the mood for any of that, so you stumble upon this Eventbrite page….”The Midnight Mic” @The Garden and you read the description and you’re like “Fuck It! Let’s Go!”

If you came to this event you made the right decision. Let me tell you what you’re in for. It’s 9:30 pm, everyone has had a few or a smoked a joint or two, and there’s a euphoric energy in the room. All of a sudden a youngish-oldish looking brash yet charming gentleman gets on the microphone tells a few jokes and then suddenly the show begins! There are ten, maybe fifteen hopeful comedians who all get an opportunity to perform on stage in hopes of gaining your validation and get chosen to perform on an upcoming professional showcase.

Welcome To The ONLY LATE NIGHT COMEDY SHOW IN THE PENINSULA, “The Midnight Mic @The Garden!” Come watch the Bay Area’s best comedians and rising stars work on their craft. if you’ve ever wanted to perform stand-up comedy, here’s your chance. This mic leads to a professionally booked show. The comics who perform the best will be booked on an upcoming professional showcase. This is a completely free show. Tips are appreciated!
