Event Details

The ongoing State of the City Forum panel discussion series on gentrification issues takes a look this month at the history of Black activism in San Francisco at 7 pm on February 19, 2015.

They’ll discuss the issues that have historically impacted the city’s African American community and the ways in which the Black Lives Matter movement is working to effect change. Panelists include Bishop Franzo King of the John Coltrane African Orthodox Church, Teresa L. Moore, USF Media Studies Associate Professor and Thea Matthews, CCSF student/activist/organizer.
