Event Details

Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center (TEL HI) is excited to share something that we’ve been working on for a little while behind the scenes: we’re opening a Children’s Makerspace! The Makerspace is a dedicated area where students can tinker, build, create whatever they dream up.

To unveil the space (and ask for your help in decorating it!), we’re having S.T.E.A.M. Day 2022 at TEL HI. Students, families and our neighbors are invited to check out the new space, build exciting projects with the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Try-it-Truck, visit our garden to celebrate Spring, and meet unusual bugs & critters with Tree Frog Treks. We’ll have snacks, music and lots of ways to get engaged in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math).  Tacos & build-your-own fruit kebabs will be on offer (for free!).

Event will take place at our neighborhood center at 555 Chestnut Street in North Beach, San Francisco. Email rfoster@telhi.org with any questions.
