2018 Stern Grove Festival | June 17 – August 19

The Stern Grove Festival returns for its 81st season having presented free concerts in the park every summer since 1938.

If you don’t mind arriving early to spread out your blanket to stake your spot, it’s an excellent way to spend a relaxing Sunday in a beautiful park setting watching free performances from top touring acts and local institutions like the San Francisco Ballet.

Head to the beautiful Stern Grove for the 2018 finale concert of the Stern Grove Festival featuring The Revolution, Prince’s iconic band from the mid-80s.

The Revolution—Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z, BrownMark and Dr. Fink—is most commonly known as the band behind the music icon, Prince. The Revolution has achieved two number-one Billboard 200 albums (Purple Rain, Around the World in a Day), multiple Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has won three GRAMMY® Awards as well as three American Music Awards.

Big Blu Soul Revue bring the soul of San Francisco to every live performance with their ‘60s and ‘70s funk and R&B-inspired sound.
