Event Details

Using seasonal vegetables you will learn to make a homemade vegetable and Chicken Stock that you will turn into two different magnificent soups – hearty Minestrone and a Creamy Vegetable Soup.

The food we throw in the garbage has used energy and water to be produced, fuel for transport and resources used for packaging. Once in the landfill, food produces methane—a greenhouse gas even more potent than carbon dioxide. This class will show you how to make a difference!
