Event Details

Netflix is giving Stranger Things fans a rare chance to watch the two-hour series finale on the big screen. The final episode of the hit sci-fi series will screen at select theaters nationwide on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day at over 20 theaters across the Bay Area, offering a theatrical send-off nearly a decade in the making.

Instead of traditional tickets, seats are reserved by purchasing a concession voucher directly from participating theaters, with 100% of the revenue going to the venues. Many theaters are offering special Stranger Things-themed concessions to make the event feel extra festive.

Bay Area locations include AMC, Cinemark, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse New Mission in San Francisco. The finale also debuts on Netflix on December 31 for those watching at home. Vouchers and showtimes vary by theater. Find more info.

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time. GET YOUR CONCESSIONS VOUCHER NOW $20 concessions voucher includes a FREE reserved seat. The voucher can be used for purchases except alcohol, merchandise, and gift cards. No change is provided if less than $20 is used. Concessions Voucher applies to in-theatre purchases only and must be redeemed on the day of the event. On the day of your event, please visit the box office or podium to claim your concessions voucher. Vouchers cannot be printed at the kiosk.
