Event Details

Please join us for a sneak preview of our brand new show, and be inspired by Streetside Stories. Since Secession’s doors opened in 2007, we have known the importance of giving back to our community. Secession’s artists and designers are proud to have collectively donated and supported this group over the past 3 years, supporting future creativity.

Tuesday, August 10th, 6-8:30 pm.

Streetside Stories provides arts programs for over 2,000 Bay Area youth each year, building literacy through their engaging storytelling, and visual and media arts workshops. Please join us on Tuesday, August 10th, from 6 – 8:30pm for Tell It Like It Is!, an introduction to Streetside. Come and learn how Streetside is using the arts to improve literacy, and increasing access to the arts and technology for underserved Bay Area youth. Join us to hear exceptional student stories, and watch a movie created by Streetside youth.

The event is free.

Wine and snacks will be served from 6 – 7pm, and the program will be held from 7 – 8:30pm.
