In celebration of the release of Carmiel Banasky’s The Suicide of Claire Bishop, Booksmith welcomes Carmiel Banasky with Vanessa Hua and Ingrid Rojas Contreras to read work around the theme of mistaken identity.

The Suicide of Claire Bishop is Banasky’s debut novel that explores the connection between art and memory. Ingrid Rojas Contreras will read from her essay in Wise Latinas: Writers on Higher Education and Vanessa Hua will read her work from California Prose Directory 2016. It’ll be a night of great readings from emerging and diverse women writers.
