Chinatown, San Francisco – Join us in our events this summer in our corridor with our fun cultural activities, dine in our various restaurants with traditional Chinese cuisine, and shop!
Saturdays: July 1, July 22, Aug. 12 & Aug. 26; 11am to 1pm
Shopping Tour with Cynthia Yee – 2 Waverly Place
Chinatown could be overwhelming with bustling shops and crowds everywhere. Even if you are a local in San Francisco, the signs and shops can make you feel like you are in a foreign land. If you are confused about the neighborhood, come by our shopping tour with our guide, Cynthia Yee, Miss Chinatown of 1967. The tour will include Chinatown history, ethnic foods, tips on grocery shopping, where to buy jewelry, and it will end at a dim sum bistro.

Calligraphy and Guzheng Performance – 814 Grant Ave
This in-person event is a celebration of Chinese culture, featuring a mesmerizing performance of calligraphy and Guzheng music. The Guzheng is a traditional Chinese instrument with a history of over 2,500 years. The performance will showcase the beauty and elegance of this instrument, accompanied by the art of calligraphy.

Join us for the Chinatown Cultural Event Series- Chinatown Instagram Tour this summer in San Francisco. Explore the vibrant and colorful Chinatown neighborhood while capturing Instagram-worthy shots of its unique culture and architecture. This in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the local community and discover hidden gems. Meet us at 2 Waverly Place and bring your camera or smartphone to snap some amazing photos. Tim Macalino (the_happyepicurean on Instagram) will provide guidance on how to pose and look your best at these spots!
