Palo Alto’s Summer Fest: 41st Annual Chili Cook-Off | 2026

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday and join us for the annual 4th of July Chili Cook Off and Summer Festival. Check out Bay Area food trucks, beer and margaritas for adults, games, activities & inflatables for kids, live entertainment, featuring the classic sounds of “Good Time Collective” and of course, free chili tasting!

Plus, chili teams will compete to win:

Best Vegetarian Chili
Best Overall Chili
Best Booth
Best Spirit Award
People’s Choice Award

A sensory friendly tent will be available. Designed especially for individuals with sensory needs, this tent will provide a welcoming, and lower-stimulation space where guests can take a break and enjoy the event at their own pace while still being part of the fun, in a comfortable and inclusive experience.

The tent will include sensory-friendly toys and comfort items, simple crafts and activities, headphones, and other calming essentials to help guests relax and recharge throughout the event.
