The 12th Annual Summer Sailstice is a free event for families and sailing enthusiasts. Sail in, drive in, BART or bike over–come down for a Saturday of fun at Oakland Oakland’s Lake Merritt.
Summer Sailstice is Saturday, June 23, 2012–the weekend closest to the summer solstice.

Enjoy free boat rentals on Lake Merritt. All ages and abilities welcomed. Stay out late and boat until 8.Please note, the event takes place from 5-7pm and all boats must come in by 8pm. We originally listed incorrect event times from 10am to 8pm.
