Event Details

Celebrate the release of a book on the diggers and com/co with a gathering in the Panhandle. Enjoy complimentary al fresco dining (yes, we think that means “free food”, too) and a clothing giveaway with music, free posters, and special guests from 4pm – 6pm on June 20, 2012. Please bring stuff to giveaway as well.

Immediately following at 6:30pm, they will move to the Booksmith (1644 Haight St) for a continued celebration of the Diggers, the Communication Company, and the Haight-Ashbury of the mid 1960s on the occasion of the publication of the new book from Foggy Notion Books, Notes from a Revolution: Com/co, the Diggers & the Haight. A panel discussion, moderated by Kristine McKenna, will feature Harvey Kornspan, Claude Hayward, and special surprise guests.
