Event Update – Sunday Streets has been canceled for March through May due to coronavirus concerns. Updated 3/11

Sunday Streets (March – October 2020) is San Francisco’s official block party – a sorta-monthly roving neighborhood celebration and five-hour street party where the streets are closed to vehicles, so pedestrians, roller skaters, bicyclists, and yogis take over the streets for an afternoon.

Canceled due to coronavirus concerns

Sunday Streets arrives in the Excelsior on March 29 with over a mile of open streets, creating a temporary park for the community to walk, roll, bike, gather and meet.

Come check out Activity Hubs on Avalon, Seneca and Ocean Ave for free fun, family-friendly activities offered by local nonprofits, community groups, and small businesses.

Visit a Market Square and Picnic Grounds, and pick up a Common Cents Passport at a Sunday Streets Info Booth to get stamped (and win prizes from!) local businesses. And don’t forget to pick up the Explore Local Guide for a fun map of the E you can use all year long.

Walk, dance, skate, bike, play, and explore the whole route while taking in live music, education and professional development resources, blood pressure screenings, food demos and more.
