Sunday Streets 2018: San Francisco’s Street Festival & Block Party

Sunday Streets (March – October 2018) is San Francisco’s official block party – a sorta-monthly roving neighborhood celebration and five hour street party where the streets are closed to vehicles, so pedestrians, roller skaters, bicyclists, yogis, and everyone except for cars can take over the streets for an afternoon.

Funcheap is proud to be a sponsor and an official partner of Sunday Streets.

On March 11, Sunday Streets kicks off its 10th anniversary season in the Mission – from Duboce Ave to 26th St., Valencia Street transforms into to a car-free community space for all to enjoy.

In a neighborhood with a high concentration of children and families, Sunday Streets provides much-needed open space for kids to run, bike and play. Roll, walk or pedal to institutions like The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts and Poder, or longtime businesses like taqueria Puerto Alegre and Dog Eared Books.
