Superfest Disability Film Festival (Oct. 16-19)

For more than 35 years, Superfest has celebrated cutting-edge cinema that portrays disability through a diverse, complex, unabashed and engaging lens. Since it first debuted in a small Los Angeles showcase in 1970 it has become an eagerly anticipated international event, recently named the most accessible film festival in the US.

Superfest 2025 is a multi-day film festival with in-person and virtual offerings. This year, we are proud to host it at the San Francisco Disability Cultural Center — a newly opened space designed by our disabled community for our disabled community. Because of this venue, we are able to offer more screenings than ever before! In addition, you can access the lineup 24/7 October 16th through 19th on our virtual platform.
