“Behind the Tanks” Beer & Brewing Storytelling Night | SF Beer Week

SF Beer Week 2026 (February 20-March 1)

SF Beer Week is a ten-day celebration that showcases the Bay Area’s brewing heritage and contemporary craft beer scene.

Have a pint or a few at hundreds of beer-themed events in San Francisco and the Bay Area from February 20 to March 1, 2026.

Full schedule for 2026 still TBA. But expect beer dinners, food and beer pairing events, trivia nights, beer tastings, meet-the-brewer evenings, homebrewing demos, and much more all over the Bay Area. Just remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Many events are FREE, but some many require a ticket (price varies).

Keep in mind: Many of the events are free to attend, but an RSVP may be required, and make sure to bring some money for all the delicious beer and food.

2026 SF Beer Week Kickoff

SF Beer Week Fest 2026
Saturday, February 21, 2026 | 1:30 to 5pm (VIP starts at Noon)
Salesforce Park, 425 Mission St., SF
*Festival is free and open to everyone; but you must purchase a ticket and be 21+ to drink beer. Early bird tickets are $75.

SF Beer Week kicks off at San Francisco’s 5.4-acre public park in the sky, Salesforce Park. Your ticket entitles you to unlimited tastings, limited-edition collaboration brews and special releases, live entertainment, and a reusable commemorative tasting glass, all while supporting your local craft brewing community and spending the afternoon in one of San Francisco’s most beautiful settings.

SF Beer Week 2026 (February 20-March 1)

Join Local Brewing Co. and friends for a night of storytelling and beers, where you’ll get the insiders’ view of what really happens behind the tanks and in the brewing industry.

Guest speakers will share their stories, moving moments, random happenings and “only in the beer industry” tales. Speakers include:

• Brendan Dobel, Brewmaster, Thirsty Bear Brewing Co.
• James Davids, SFBrewcraft and Winemaker/owner, Oro En Paz Winery
• Kim Schimke, Social Media & Event Reporter, The Brewing Network
• Shawn Scott & Ian Gordon, Owners/Designers, Gamut Design (branded breweries including: Golden Road, Cellarmaker, Local, SFBW and many others)

Guest Speaker Panel will be moderated by Regan and Sarah, founders of Local Brewing Co. While listening to these never-before-heard-in-public stories, you can, of course, enjoy any of Local’s 16 beers.
