The beloved Taste of Montclair Village returns Tuesday, April 7, from 5-8pm in Oakland’s Montclair Village, inviting guests to enjoy an evening of food, drink, and community celebration. Attendees can sample bites and libations, including craft beer and artisan wines from more than 30 local restaurants and businesses.

- Passports will be picked up at the Montclair Village Association event info booth (2066 Antioch Ct, Oakland).
- Standard street parking will be available as well as ample paid parking in the Montclair Parking Garage (6235 La Salle Ave, Oakland).
Proceeds benefit the Montclair Village Association, a nonprofit business improvement district serving the community for over 75 years. Ticket holders receive a tasting Passport for access to culinary creations and beverage samples throughout the district.
Guests can relax at communal seating while enjoying live, family-friendly entertainment from the Jazz Education Ensemble, which pairs professional jazz musicians with school-age performers in a mentorship experience. The event also features kids’ activities, merchant promotions, giveaways, and opportunities to meet local business owners and community leaders.

About the Montclair Village Association:
The MVA is a nonprofit 501(c)3 Business Improvement District (BID) with a mission to: increase the safety of Montclair, Oakland; support Montclair’s small businesses and merchants; expand opportunities for patronage and visitorship in Montclair; develop youth training programs for Oakland high school students and college interns seeking professional work experiences; expand artist representation in unused urban spaces; catalyze Montclair’s social capital and placemaking for business improvement; and ensure the enjoyment and livability of downtown Montclair for all Bay Area visitors and residents.
