Event Details

The cast of PLACAS has commissioned video journalist Josue Rojas to make a video as a companion piece to the play PLACAS to find out why you got your tattoo(s) and of what significance it/they are to you.

On August 18, 2012, they’ll be hosting a party at Mission Cultural Center and turning the theatre into a film studio where playwright Paul Flores and the cast of PLACAS will be interviewing members of the public about their tattoos or the removal of them. The evening will also feature the chance to hang with the cast of PLACAS and get an inside scoop on the new production, groove to the turntable stylings of DJ Aztec Parrot, see tattoo demonstrations, and enjoy great food, drinks and lots more.

The party is free to enter and open to the public (we will accept donations!). But if you would like to be one of the people chosen for interview on camera you must RSVP prior to the day of the event. Participants will also receive discount tickets to the performance of PLACAS
